​Buzzing Brass Wellington Youth Band

• Cost per term $80.00

• Entry level Grade 3+

 

Once students have reached Grade 3 level they are encouraged to join our Youth Band. The band is made up not only of Buzzing Brass students but any other brass players and percussionists that are looking for an ensemble to play in. It is designed to further enhance skills learnt in lessons, putting them into practice in an large ensemble setting. Importance is placed on: tuning, rhythm, counting, sound production, social skills, and team building.

 

The band meets once a week during school term at the Wellington Brass Band Rooms in Ngaio and performs once per term.
